Anyone know where I can get the lyrics in english to a song by Aventura called "los infieles"?

I really like this song with the way the music goes and the way the strings are played… I know it deals with infidelity but I want to know the full lyrics to get an idea what he is talking about…

Here is a link to get an idea of what I am talking about..

Does anyone remember a song performed by Gloria Loring that contains these words "….what would it

take if I told you, I always wanted to hold you." BTW, she sang this song with a male artist as well, and his name escapes me. I want to say Carl something or other, but am not so sure that is correct. Help the dawg out here pretty please!!! Thank you! 🙂

Have you noticed?…this increasing trend of using old songs and tunes in television commercials?..

most recently, I heard a late 60’s early 70’s…"What A Day For A Daydream" (a day dreamin’ boy like me)….I mean, it’s always been going on, but now, it seems more than ever…Are we only now recognizing in hindsight just how good some of that music was….and…..DID CARLY SIMON SELL OUT OR WHAT..when they did the Heinz ketchup ‘Anticipation’ commercial, however clever it was?

What songs do these lines come from?

These are probably all quite easy to find on T’interweb, but can you name them without looking?

1. If chicken little tells you that the sky is falling

2. So open up your eyes, I got a big surprise

3. The show usually starts around nine

4. All day long I think of things, but nothing seems to satisfy

5. Like Michael Jackson telling little Timmy to be silent

Who the hell sings this song??I’ve found the lyrics to this song and it says it’s called "beautiful think" by romantic torture although I can find nothing about this so called artist.

this is the first two verses:
Watch as the needle burns into my heart
Look as your dagger tears me apart
Forgive me for my acts fo jealousy
And bring onto me the most beautiful thing

And I know that I’m wrong
And I know it’s not fair
Not wanting to share
Not wanting, I’m scared
Chorus:
It’s killing me
The most beautiful thing in the world is killing me
The most wonderful thing that I know is killing me
The most beautiful thing in the world is killing me
The most wonderful thing that I know is killing me

More lyrics..

here’s another 5 for you to have a go at

1. Right here in my dirty face to wear the scars

2. Where rocking horse people eat marshmallow pies

3. It’s the same old theme since nineteen-sixteen

4. I took the tube back out of town

5. No hint no word her honour to defend

What is your interpretation of this song? [Pink Floyd – WTTM]

Welcome my son, welcome to the machine…
Where have you been?
It’s alright we know where you’ve been.
You’ve been in the pipeline, filling in time,
Provided with toys and ‘Scouting for Boys’.
You bought a guitar to punish your ma,
And you didn’t like school, and you
know you’re nobody’s fool,
So welcome to the machine.

Welcome my son, welcome to the machine…
What did you dream?
It’s alright we told you what to dream.
You dreamed of a big star,
He played a mean guitar,
He always ate in the Steak Bar.
He loved to drive in his Jaguar.
So welcome to the Machine.

What do the Paul Simon lyrics "The Myth of the Fingertips" refer to?

This is the last song on the album ‘Graceland’.

Here are the full lyrics:

Over the mountain
Down in the valley
Lives a former talk-show host
Everybody knows his name
He says there’s no doubt about it
It was the myth of fingerprints
I’ve seen them all and man
They’re all the same

Well, the sun gets weary
And the sun goes down
Ever since the watermelon
And the lights come up
On the black pit town
Somebody says what’s a better thing to do
Well, it’s not just me
And it’s not just you
This is all around the world

Out in the Indian Ocean somewhere
There’s a former army post
Abandoned now just like the war
And there’s no doubt about it
It was the myth of fingerprints
That’s what that old army post was for

Well, the sun gets bloody
And the sun goes down
Ever since the watermelon
And the lights come up
On the black pit town
Somebody says what’s a better thing to do
Well, it’s not just me
And it’s not just you
This is all around the world

Over the mountain
Down in the valley
Lives the former talk-show host
Far and wide his name was known
He said there’s no doubt about it
It was the myth of fingerprints
That’s why we must learn to live alone

What is your favorite Dan Fogelberg album and why?

My favorite is "Netherlands". This was my first introduction to the music of Dan Fogelberg and songs from this record were featured routinely when I started listening to FM radio during my freshman and sophomore years in the 70’s. I cannot tell you how many times I must have played, "Lessons Learned" especially when a girl I knew broke my heart.

Netherlands brings back a lot of memories during a pivotal time in my teen years, and I still listen to it now, maybe once or twice a year. The Innocent Age is a classic as well. Twin Sons from Different Mothers was great and different when it was first released. I like the instrumentals more than the vocals. I hope it will be rediscovered. Recording artists today can a learn a lot from this poet and musician.

So, what are your favs?
