What was your worst experience in a restaurant?

My wife and I stopped for lunch today at a nice-looking spot that has pretentions of sophistication, and a French theme (in upstate New York). Rather pricey, varied menu, seemed appealing. They made three major errors in our two orders, perhaps a world record. Two more errors in attempting to correct the [...]

The Queen has recently visited the USA, is this just an empty PR exercise?

Judging by the way President Bush fumbled his words and even winked at her, it seems the visit is a bit of joke!

Are labor unions necessary? Do they serve a societal good?

In the past unions were very necessary, because there was no one to protect the worker from companies. Now there are many labor laws and lobbying groups to serve the same purpose…does this make unions redundant?

The US has enjoyed global hegemony, not because of its superior military strength but due to its economic prowess. Christian Nation and Torture. Are these two ideas in conflict?

My point is not to say that we are a Christian Nation because I don’t believe that to be the case.
