Christian Nation and Torture. Are these two ideas in conflict?

My point is not to say that we are a Christian Nation because I don’t believe that to be the case. Some of the same people who proclaim the USA to be a Christian Nation are now also defending the Bush administration torture practices. Just curious what others think about this. Is it Christian to [...]

Seriously… I have a friend, who gives adequate nourishment, shelter, love, to their pet. They maintain a clean litter box for their two cats. Should drinkers be punished also?

On the heels of my question about smoking that I posted yesterday, which elicited a lot of emotional responses, I wanted to pose the same type of question about alcohol instead of cigarettes. I suspect, given yesterday’s answers, that there are more alcohol drinkers than smokers in here, and I wanted to see what [...]

I have heard numerous suggestions about the legitimacy of the moon landing by the Apollo 11 crew back in 1969, and wondered what other people thought about this.
