what are the health effects of mold in your home?

had water leak in bedroom of apartment above window. maintenance is horrible. boyfriend and i talked to them numerous times, they did not do anything. 3 months later mold (black) has grown on the ceiling and wall. called health department, going to call friday for complaint if maintenance does not come.
i just need some good info on the health effects of mold. i feel like i am getting sick but i’m not sure what it is.

He will swim 5 odd miles of Coniston water, cycle 115 miles and then run more than 66 miles with over 28,000 ft of climb which is like running up Everest in a day!!! all for charity – to sponsor him got to wwwironmandave.com – this is all non stop to raise money for atwo children’s hospices one in the south called CHASE CXhildren’s Hospice where my daughter goes and Martin’s House up north near Wetherby – do you think he will be able to do it and would you like to sponsor him?

Supermarket vouchers

It gets me really mad when greed is dressed up as charity. Supermarkets should donate if they want to, or pay their corporate taxes properly? As if they could care less about education or school equipment. The best one is pumping kids full of sugar and fat and then realising the backlash against obesity could be harmful so the supermarkets then promote ‘active kids’, or sport equipment for schools. On the subject of pseudo charity; can you imagine how a ‘ vouchers for defence’ scheme would be greeted? Why should education be an area where this is acceptable? I have put in an example of a fictional voucher. Perhaps we could include policing, social services etc? What do you think?

As a child, I looked forward to my chocolate Easter bunnies, Hershey bars and Nestle crunch bars, as an adult, I can’t eat that stuff. It tastes greasy and waxy. Did the formula for American milk chocolate change or did my tastes change? What kinds of chocolate do you like? Milk or dark? Truffles? European or American?

What is the meanest thing a sibling did to you when you were children? Can you laugh about it now?

A small plane made an emergency landing in a field by my elementary school one day during recess and we all started running over to it although out teachers were yelling at us not to. Apparently one teacher gave my little sister a piece of paper and told her to write down the names of all the kids she saw dis-obeying and she wrote MY name at the top of the list! So much for favoritism! We laugh about it now because she is a police officer and I tell her that even then she was up-holding the law!

My cousin Dave Slater is to attempt a world record over the weekend of 21/22 June in aid of the children’s hospice my daughter Indigo goes to – he is to swim 5.3 miles of Coniston Water, then get on his bike for 115miles doing the Fred Whitton route 2 for 115 miles and ascending 12,000 feet which is tougher than the mountain section of the Tour de France and then he will run the Bob Graham round of 66miles climbing over 28,000 feet that’s like climbing Everest!!! all in under 38 hours he hopes. Does anyone know if there is a record for this?

How did you select the charity you support?

Me? It’s easy. My grandad only ever supported the Salvation Army because "they were the only ones out there under fire" at the Somme – and MacMillan Nurses because of my parent’s experience.
