ok, i need some help with this. i am finding great sites that i want to get to easily. how?
favorites is too full and cluttered and its hard for me to remember where everything is. how do i make a spot, that sorta looks like my pictures, where i can arrange, add, delete and then go straight to the site with a click? this isnt in the book, pcfordummies…is it as easy as selecting feeds? and what if i have a zillion feeds? what do i do about that?
thanks…

this is close to what im trying to do. but i want the info on my pc to work with off line also. and id like it to be easier for me. scrolling down and reading line after line is tedious and hard on the eyes. if something like favs would open up like a photo album, then i could take it all in in a flash. click on a 'pic' and youre there…each 'pic' would be the individual site or page, or whatever, just like favs…as it fills up, the pics get smaller, except the ones used most often. click on a corner of the page and all the' pics' get larger…
it takes me days to program my phone…heres a mini-rant…when something thats supposed to be helpful takes more time to set up than just doing the thing immediately, then its not much help…
im a pcmoron…ill end up using this, but im gonna be grumbling all the way…:) thanks…

thanks, but thats a different idea…
i want to keep them on my pc, with an easy way to use, like favorites, but laid out like pictures is…when it opens like an album you can take in all the info at once instead of scrolling. and then id like to just click on the 'pic' and go stright to the site, like favs does…maybe im just visual, but i find things much easier when i can see the whole thing.
but favs is too full, is there a way to fix it?

you mean create a folder(which im still having 'fun' with), and leave it on the desktop? is it just my pc, or does it take forever to open? i like favs because its so fast, click on one and youre there.
my problem is that im getting to find sooo many sites i dont want to lose track of, whether or not i visit back anytime soon. sometimes it takes forever to find what i want, i cant remember which site goes where, (hold the jokes please…:), but i need them for research, cross-referencing, boredom, etc.
you know how your pics open in an album? its so much easier for me to find a pic than to scroll down a long list of short words…if i could arrange my favs like that it would be so much easier to organize, to make trees like you do with ancestry, a visual presentation. save my eyes too…
thanks mom, this will work for some of the favs, and leave room for the ones i use the most….ill need a directory so i dont forget whats in what folder…im just lazy…

yeah… I need to clean up my files too and organize them a bit better.. folders and sub folders… just alot of stuff out there.. but you know those family trees just get bigger and bigger too… they need folders and sub folders..

yeah, but at least you know where to look, that saves a bunch of frustration right there…

yeah, im guessing thats the only way to do it. it makes it easier, like bookmarking, im just lazy i guess…if there was a way to see it all at a glance. kinda like how some web pages are laid out so you can see all thats on the page, then just click on the spot to go to whatever…
Just_Leo - February 5th, 2010
yeah, that helps, thanks…
if you know how to do what im asking about in the comments, just keep in mind i dont know diddly about pcz…

how? do i move the favs to a folder, then move the folder back to favs?
Just_Leo - February 5th, 2010
nevermind, im dumb, its in the book…
still, this isnt exactly what im trying to do. only had a pc for about six months, so ….most of what i know ive learned from here, voting and when a q comes up that has an answer, well, i put it in favs, to try later!!! now i dont know where they are, or which fav goes to which site….so, im just looking for an easier way to 'see' it all. check my comments above, maybe theres an easy way for a pcmoron to do this…
thanks for the help….
