What things you really wanted have been a massive disapointment?

Also what things you havent really wanted held a pleasant surprise.

These days I find so much being pushed at us just does not live up to the expectation, but find even just a smile in the most unlikely of situations.

    Most jobs that I have had have looked far more desirable before I took them than after.
    For the other way round, I am not a great one for having a fuss made over me but the family surprised me with turning up for my 60th birthday and it surpised me how much I enjoyed it.
